I am probably a shit person
So uh to understand this better, you will have to find my other thread of "My ***(?) Dad" but you don't need to read it to understand. So basically, one time my dad called me selfish and narcissistic for dropping a cup and he also said that was why Emma (my best friend who drifted away and l was really insecure about it) and l just started crying and left to my room because l told him about how l felt with that a few nights ago and l trusted him with that information, keep in mind, l was like 10 years old. After l ran to my room, he was knocking and telling me to stop being dramatic. Fast forward to a few hours ago, and l was playing with my best friend, Leo at school and l was too rough and l pushed him and he hurt his hand and l have a history of hurting people because l was too excited so l went quiet and he avoided me the whole day and now l am thinking that maybe my dad was right.

Your dad is not right 💚

You're not a *** person because a cup falls.
You're not a *** person because friends drift apart.
You're not a *** person because you make a mistake while playing around.
These are all things we all do or experience all the time.
Making mistakes is not as important as how you deal with them. If you clean up the cup, try your best to be a great friend, and apologize to people you may have hurt? That's what shows who you really are.
And even though a lot of people are quick to judge you for your mistakes, there are just as many quietly observing how you handle them and building a lot of respect for you because you handle them with grace.

What has happened isn't a sign that you are a *** person. You were having very human reactions. You got mad when your father brought up a detail you shared because you trusted him, you got excited and hurt your friend. I don't think these make you a bad person, the main thing is how you handle yourself going forward.
If you truly are sorry, then make it clear to your best friend. And if the two of you are already friends, then it should be easier to find forgiveness. You father may be more calloused, but I hope your experience with him hasn't ruined how you see other people.
You are a normal human being, and I'm proud of you for thinking over everything and showing some remorse, but don't let this remorse ruin your happiness. Take care of yourself.
