I feel guilty
I felt guilty of skipping school because my mom paid alot but my mental health is getting worse and i dont feel like going. I recently switched schools because i didnt fit in and wanted to make friends in a new school, turns out the new school has even ruder people and i dont fit in even more. The teachers are bad too. My mom already complained of wasting much money in changing schools.
Any opinions?
I understand how difficult this situation must be for you. Feeling guilty about skipping school, especially knowing how much your mom has invested, is completely normal. Your mental health is crucial, and it sounds like this new school isn't providing the supportive environment you need. It's really disheartening when efforts to improve your situation don't work out, and the added pressure from your mom's concerns only adds to your stress.
Have you been able to talk to anyone about how you're feeling?
@cicada1403 I'd go about this two ways: 1.) come clean to your parents that you can't be in this school either and go into detail about what the other students did specifically to make you feel unwelcome, and come with a list of schools you want to visit to see what the vibe is like 2) while you wait to get transferred, google tips on how to create a good impression with people in general so you get off on the right foot 3) repeat #1 and be persistent. That's the only way you'll get through to them. You know what they say, third time's the charm! Good luck!
Thanks for the advice! Appreciate it! i just never seemed to fit in anywhere, sometimes i try to look tough to not get bullied but i think i come out as rude. Im always quiet and my appearance looks weak. i try to speak up nowadays but i dont really know how to comunicate confidently. Plus we had no choice since the other schools were too expensive, this was the only school near my place. i think im gonna get stuck here forever...
