I’m Lonely… Talk to Me?
I’m putting out a similar post to what others have made recently… Struggling a bit, requesting someone to talk to and distract me… The nights are harder than the days. My texts are silent, 7Cups is silent, I’m bored and lonely, and on the less-good days, my mind wanders into a deep depression. Today, I’m ok, just feeling a bit lonely, no one to talk to… None of my friends are texting me back and the forums are too quiet for me… Talk to me about anything? Random topics, stories, games, news, things going on in your life, tell me about that pretty bug you saw outside today, I don’t care what it is, just keep me company. Not just tonight, but in general. Life gets lonely over here…
No creepy or weird conversations, please. Just good conversation, make me think, let me find new friends, etc. Recommend good kids’ and YA books, tell me about good shows and movies on Netflix, come up with random ideas for icebreakers I can make, tell me about fun things you learned at school, suggest a new hobby, ask me questions, get to know me <3 Anything goes. Random is fun! <3

Batgirl, l grew up just as the Beatles were kicking off Rock! What a time to be a kid! So many great groups with music nobody had ever heard before! It affects music till this day! Late 60's thru 70's music was mind blowing stuff when it first came out. You might have liked that time period. Oh, and people were nicer! Or at least it feels that way?
Yeah likely, or there was less divisions on every single topic out there. Also I remember even the 90s where it was dial up and so you got some connection but could also unplug and enjoy outside with others easier. Social media wasn’t a thing.

Exactly Batgirl, you now have a supercomputer in your hands everywhere you go. In the 90's you were strapped to a slow dial up computer and couldn't hall it outside to have in your back pocket as you played kickball with kids on your block!
Oh, and you would have loved growing up when l did. I remember where l was located when l heard Led Zeppelin's "Stairway to Heaven" which starts out very slow but builds and builds until it is jamming! I was doing homework at the kitchen table and was up dancing before it was over. So many groups going in SO many directions! It was an awesome time to have been a teenager l can tell you! Ha

Keira, great choices. I actually saw Queen in concert in Birmingham, Alabama. I went to a TON of concerts back then, Queen was by far tops! Nobody compared!

Totally understand this, unfortunately. When times are tough, sometimes we just take it one day at a time with a general goal of “leaving home” but can’t see beyond that. Story of my life.

Second. I also don’t have training for most things, and I get too antsy for sit-down jobs. I used to wanna work at a bookstore, but you have to be quiet and work relatively slowly there! Not my speed. Lol
Keira, you could learn then teach skydiving! Would be more exciting than the bookstore job where you must move slowly, right? 👍
