I'm done with this country.
Being a Korean guy shames me. I'm done with how Korean Government treats its people. Everything about sex is tabooed and illegal. Most sensitive words, even the word su1c1d3 (자살) is censored as 'extreme decision' (극단 택), really lame. It's 2022, but the president and high-ranking officials still acts like 1700-1800's Choson dynasty kings. The govt doesn't give a damn on all the social minorities including LGBTQI. I am an MTF and honestly unsure if I could fully pass as a lady. TERF jerks are everywhere too.
And, Korean Wave is a fucking lie. I've been several discord servers full of western people and nobody talks about Korean Culture. Most Koreans think Korea will surpass Japan. Bullshit.
Really want to move to Canada, take some heavy plastic surgery and become an honorary Black/Mestizo lady. Really want to forget my past.
Omg im in a similar situation, i dont know much abt the korean government Im from the middle east and im nonbinary and bi we have a gay death penalty and they will treat u less than human if ur LGBTQ+, They dont respect non religious ppl like me and just down right closed minded bigots, and dont care about minorities in general. They also dont normalize dating. They’re just now on the path for making women’s rights better My parents are homophobic and will prolly disown me
If you want to move out, do it now, gather the documents, bring food supplies, sell ur apartment and leave, get ready for the worst and then hopefully u’ll survive to see the best. I know its fricking hard for us queer people, But i know That you and I deserve to live and that society is dumb for wanting everyone to be the same
