I think kindness is out of fashion, and it's terrifying.
I noticed that people are ruthless, toxic and judgemental. It's very hard to find a real friend. I keep away from people, because of how awful they can be. Anyone has the same thoughts?
@ObsceneAsCancer2272 That's true and very sad. It's surprising how unkind people can be and they also have to go out of their ways to do so. Hope all those people keep finding each other :3
But I've seen many kind people too so all is not lost. Some people have such a pure heart that they make everything and everyone around them shine. I'm sure you've got your own shine as well and I hope you meet many such kind people so that you can have your own bright corner in the dark world. Hopefully there'll be so many bright corners around that the darkness feels faded <3
@ObsceneAsCancer2272 I totally agree, its really hard to find genuine people to talk or be friends with.

a lot of people are damaged in their own way and they act awful. i don't even blame them. and i feel like it got worse because of social media and phones. many factors. it is what it is
but i will not be around people that make me feel like crap. i'm done with that. i will choose who to hang out with and be close with. no more being needy and pleasing others
you just cant get along with everyone, not even with the most of them. and i accept this now :)
I'll be honest I'm a social person and the people I come across are awesome but sometimes there are thoses type of people that are mean for no reason or just have hate in them all the time. They are meant to challenge us in those situations. They are testing if we will push back or fall down. But we can be thoses people who except them for who they are and live life the way we want it and not ignore them but just don't try to change them. If we see them we smile or wave and just keep going. We don't need thoses toxic people. We are capable of finding friends who will see us for eho we are and love us. When finding g friends it's important to remember they might only be our friend for an hour a day or a month or who knows maybe a whole year but we have to focus on our goals and life and those short friendships we develop along the way.

yes and no
starngers can certainly be like that
but the trick is being in a community be it a hobby club a team a class a band a church or whatever you want to associate with and find it fun/fulfiling to be a part off
people in general tend to look for others like them so by looking for and associating with folks like you you will find kindness is in spades , you just werent paying attention to the right people before
thats how i found a great online community that i consider a family to me and how i stumbeled upon an irl community that makes me feel i belong
@ObsceneAsCancer2272
Yeah i've seen how nasty people can be, and don't have many friends myself.
I don't necessarily avoid people though, i'm just a little cautious at times.
No matter how dark the world may seem to be, someone can be that little flicker of light that someone out there may need. I know that one person may not be able to do much, but that doesn't mean that you can't be the good for one person out there.

If we say we love them
why are we not in it
why we run and hide?
Entertain a stranger
maybe entertain an angel
the danger is if our worlds don't collide."

@ObsceneAsCancer2272 yes, it's seems like there are more narcissistic people in this world and it's very hard to trust because you dont know what their motive is.

I think kindness may seem out of fashion but same is the case for standard shirts, t-shirts, pants, footwear. Doesn't mean we stop wearing them or hating them.
I think it helps us to remember that fashion is a part of show business while our daily routine needs basics - kindness , compassion, appreciation , gratitude are like innerwear and basics which might not seem to be in fashion but we need to be dressed with.
