Low self esteem

So today I kinda embarrassed myself. I have poor social skills and well the only thing I can say this moment was embarrassing to me. I already have low self esteem(not exactly sure why but there's a lot of things to detangle from my past that probably caused it) and everytime I make a mistake I am SO HARD on myself. Like I criticize myself so bad. I can say to myself that I am the worst human alive because I made this mistake , that I nothing will ever workout, that I am lame, I am stupid. I deep down know it's not true. IT'S LIES!!! It's just lies from my brain. BUT NOT THE TRUTH!! So if you have the same problem, please don't criticize yourself. It's ok to make mistakes. You learn from them! And no, you are not a horrible human being I'd you made this mistake. It's irrational to think that way. Anyways I don't wish this upon anybody because it feels bad. I just wanna love myself and I don't wanna treat myself so badly. It's hard. I seriously wanna cry after this mistake. I understand that there is nothing wrong but still. I feel that I am stupid. I know it's not true and I try hard not to think this but it feels like my brain just wanna bully me hard tonight (just like every other day to be honest) So yeah, you're not alone in this❤️ I have no tips how to overcome this. I was looking for tips on the internet but it's just general tips like practice self compassion, be kind to yourself, take some time for self care. Like I have trauma and it's not one self care day that will help. My whole life is filled with traumas so there's a lot of things to work on. I hope you will have a great day/night and I hope it will get better for all of us❤️❤️❤️❤️

@23helicopters Thank you for sharing your feelings. You're right that those negative thoughts are often just lies from our own minds. It's important to remember that everyone makes mistakes, and it's a part of being human. You're not alone in feeling this way, and it's great that you're recognizing the irrationality of those negative thoughts. It's a step in the right direction. Healing and self-love take time, especially when dealing with past traumas, but you're on a path of self-awareness and growth. Feel free to reach out anytime you'd like to talk or share more. Sending you lots of positivity and well wishes! ❤️
