Nicknames
I saw something that made me remember a nickname I was given and was wondering if anyone else had someone call them something that reflected their mental state as a joke, or before you even knew you had a problem.
For me, my bowling coach nicknamed me Eeyore when I was barely a teenager. Probably should have paid more attention to it at the time.
@Lythande
Not a nickname, but I realized in hindsight that I was more or less isolated during my teens, and I think that was an early sign of me slowly getting depression :(
I grew up in a nice middle class neighborhood but I went to school in a bad neighborhood. I got beat up a few times but nothing serious. Instead of being depressed about it I learned how to defend myself. Yea, I beat up some bullies after that but overall everything was better after that for everyone at my school. Not condoning violence but sometimes it’s the only answer.

Completely off topic, but yeah, bullies don't usually back off unless they get bored, find a new target, or get a taste of their own medicine.
