One of the most hurtful things I experienced
Maybe someone named X hurt me and I sought support on this to another person C. I tell C, "This person said this to me" and C is like, "Well his intentions are right. You're taking it wrong".
This is one of life's saddest experiences. Being normalized to abuse, seeing verbal abuse as "for your own good", I have a hard time differentiating normal from abuse. So I talk to people about it to understand why it feels bad that the other person said it. And people instead of helping me, tells me things that eventually implies it's my fault I'm feeling this way. I suppose it's relatable to most people here.
Many times the people who are taking the verbal abuser's side are actually triggered themselves, they have done things like this to others so they are protecting themselves by protecting the abuser. I'm basing this on my real life experience and experiences in support groups other than 7 cups. I'm honestly surprised people who have been on the spiritual path for years do the same thing. I'm pretty scared of sharing and most times feel isolated. The times I don't feel isolated is when I get to share here in 7cups and maybe someone gives me a listening ear.
So I'm just feeling a bit down lately.

I'm so sorry that you went through all these. I know when most of the people are against our thoughts, sometimes even we start questioning ourselves thinking if we are at wrong. But sweetheart I just want you to stay strong and fight for yourself. You're not wrong. I support with all my heart. Take care☺.
