Stuck in a lift - worst thing ever 😫
I was doing open mic at this centre I go to. I needed the toliet cause I was rehearsing, so I thought I go and use the lift to get there quicker.
So I got in the lift , it went down fine until I found myself stuck and I didnt know how to get out and luckily enough I had my phone with me.
I rang a bell button , I felt so anxious and scared that I wasn't gonna get out. I needed help 😪 to get out and came out sweating so much and just really worried incase it happens again.
I seen a couple of staff members smirking and smiling, thinking it was funny. It just really put me off now. I think I've got a pobhia of going lifts.

@catchmeifyoucangirl Okay so I can help you with this! I had the exact same phobia all my life. I always took stairs to avoid elevators. Then I got a job at this place where I had to use an elevator like 50 times everyday. Luckily it was only a short trip between two floors but I ended up going on it so many times I became immune to the fear. Like I still felt something like an acknowledgment of the discomfort but it was no longer so sharp for me. I'm not sure if you can try that in some small measure but it cured me permanently. I even rode an elevator for a hundred floors since then.
