We forget we can ask for help
Life can be unpredictable, and sometimes it feels like the weight of the world is for you to carry. We forget we can ask for help. We forget it’s okay to lean on a supporting shoulder once in a while.

I used to feel so exposed when I had to ask for support. It was so tough opening up and just saying *what was going on* . I am glad, that phase is over. Knowing that as a human being, we are designed to seek support and provide help here and there was the biggest turning point for my mental health.
Yes, Sometimes we don’t know where to turn. But it is supposed to feel like that. Seeking reassurance itself has its own trial and error-process. Maybe no solution is ever Perfect, it’s us who make it work. No matter what life throws your way, you don't have to face it alone. Period.
@sky2Ocean20 , I love how beautifully and perfectly you managed to articulate how hard it is to reach out. I also love the title. Really appreciate you posting it here and also sharing your own experiences. If I can ask , what helped you to reach out even a little when you first decided to seek support ? I would be very grateful if you could share some insight about that. But if you aren't comfortable doing so , I perfectly understand. You main post in itself is a treasure.
@Skytied
It is actually a very good question and yes I would like to share how that happened.
Initially, when I had to ask someone for an extra pen or just reply to "How was my day", I noticed a few people just asked for the sake and others really encouraged me to open up more by asking open-ended questions like "Why do you think so?" ,"how does it happen" etc. So, that led me to believe that some people care. I understood that sometimes opening up can feel relaxing depending on the company we have and sometimes it could go wrong also.
Incident after incident, I could recognize when to stop and when to be comfortable. We get help with our intuition compass I guess, if we allow it. It does take a while to accept uncertainties and express who we are wherever needed. isn't it !!

such wise words 💗 thank you for sharing your journey with us
@sky2Ocean20
It sounds like you have been on the recovery journey for quite a while now and you can help people because you have helped yourself so you know what others are going since you been there.
