Working on my pathway
Hello 7 cup friends. I am on a pathway to work on assertiveness in communication skills...and my current step requests I make a post. What has led me to my current situation is: I have a history of going out of my way to be a people pleaser until I feel like I have nothing else to give and then end up becoming resentful and ending the relationship. Which looking back it's really not fair to the other person because I'm sure they're left wondering what happened because I keep everything bottled in and then poof I'm saying bye. So I'm quickly getting to that point with my husband who unfortunately has many traits of a narcissist, but still we have a toddler together and I hope to improve my communication skills and boundary setting in order to have productive conversations and head the relationship in a positive direction instead of a downward spiral. Best wishes to you all on your journey!
