brreak up
Lately in our relationship, I’ve felt like I was stuck in limbo. The affection he was giving me didn’t feel like enough anymore, and we’d been fighting more often than usual. Ever since he moved away for university, the distance between us made everything feel heavier
During our date, I suddenly felt overwhelmed it seemed like he didn’t really prioritize our time together, and I just broke down in tears. I took him somewhere private to talk, and I told him everything I’d been holding in how unloved and distant I’d felt.
He opened up too. He told me that he’s been struggling with his mental health and barely keeping up with university work. He said maintaining our relationship had become really difficult with the distance, and that he needed me but couldn’t bring himself to tell me what was going on because he thought I wouldn’t understand or that there was nothing I could do.
In the end, he said the only way for him to feel less pressure and stress was for us to break up. I told him I understood. I felt okay with this cause to be honest ive been accepting the fact that we may break up due to the stress ive been under because of us so I thought I’d be okay with it, but now… I just miss him so much.
He said he misses me too. The whole way home, he held me close, comforting me as I cried he said he was sad to let go of us aswell . Before he dropped me off, he gave me a kiss goodbye.

I'm sorry you had to break up, it's not like the love is not there, that's why it is hard, you are both just busy dealing with other aspects of life.
I think you both showed an emotional maturity to allow each other to focus on getting back to a good place.
You were both honest and respectful and that takes guts 💕💜
