The feeling of loneliness have just gotten worse inside of me, everything feels empty and even sorrounded with people I cannot seem to connect with them or even just enjoying their company. Online communities feels like a hassle also, my hobbies are nothing but a chore again. I don't know anymore I don't how to be content with the companionship of loneliness even having it basically my entire life. Everything just feels heavy and I'm struggling.

I'm really glad you shared this. I know it probably took a lot of energy just to type that out—and it’s okay if you’re feeling completely drained right now. That kind of emptiness you’re describing... it’s not just sadness. It’s that quiet, aching kind of loneliness that makes everything feel distant and disconnected—even your own interests, even the people around you.

When nothing feels fulfilling, even the things that once brought you joy, it can feel like you're stuck watching life from behind a glass wall. You're not alone in feeling this, even if the feeling itself convinces you that you are.

And I want to say this gently: there is nothing wrong with you for not being able to snap out of it. You're not broken. You’re not failing at being human. Sometimes, especially after carrying this kind of loneliness for so long, your mind and body just need rest—a different kind of rest that isn't just about sleep, but about being seen, understood, and safe.

You don’t have to figure it all out today. You don’t have to "fix" anything right now. Maybe the goal today isn’t to feel joy or connection, but just to sit in the truth of what you’re feeling and not push it away. Sometimes that honesty—“I’m not okay right now”—is the bravest and kindest thing you can give yourself.

And even though it might not seem like it now, this heavy season can shift. Even if slowly, even if unevenly. You might not always feel this isolated. You might find yourself, one day, connecting again in ways that feel real—not forced.

In the meantime, if this gets heavier than you can carry, please consider reaching out to a therapist or crisis line. Not because you're weak—but because you deserve support in the same way you’d offer it to someone else if they were hurting like you are now.

You're not a burden. You're a person who’s tired of being alone with pain. That makes sense. And you're seen here. Truly.

Thank you kind stranger for typing this out, I needed to hear that and it genuinely made me cry and I'm still sobbing. It's like 3AM and I haven't got any sleep lol. What I'm going through stills getting worse, my mind have been considering taking anti depressants and worse is suicide. I tried reaching out to a crisis line before but I got scared, I just don't like being a burden to anyone. The sins I did before also haunts me everyday and I can't take it anymore, physical health got worse also been bed rotting all day. I just genuinely don't know what to do anymore. It hits hard with the last paragraph you have said, I'm a person tired of being alone with pain. It feels like I'm just escaping and I'm exhausted. I don't even know how long I will last if this thing keeps going. I appreciate you for the kind words I have never received, truly I thank you.
