Finding Motivation.
We all have those days where we are super motivated to do something. We feel like the world is ours to conquer.
And then there are the other days when all you want to do is bond with your bed.
I think this is because we are often trying too hard. We don't do things because we want to, we do it because we feel obligated to do so.
There are a number for reasons for this.
1) Because the task has becomes so routine it is no longer surprising or fun. It's just a chore you do.
2) It is no longer your realm of interest. You moved on from it.
3) You aren't doing it for yourself, but for someone else.
4) You might be afraid of trying. The fear of failure. And you procrastinate with it.
I think the only way to deal with these is to let go. Leave the things that you don't like to do.
The things that don't make you happy, there aren't worth it.
Sometimes the hardest decision we make is to quit something. But it might also the right decision.
Motivation is hard to come by.
Getting up from bed might seem like a chore. You may have no energy. But it's okay. Some days all you have to do is exist. You are alive. And that's enough.
I live by these words. "Let come what may."
