I have to find back to my strength

Hello!

For months I have been feeling this choking pressure, almost paralyzing at some points. It is blocking me from moving forward, from reaching my dream that I have fought so hard for and that mean everything to me. It's slowly destroying me and I have to stop it before my dream is gone. I have gotten a lot of strength from my faith (I am Catholic), but I fear I am losing this. The only point when I do not have this pressure is when I am in church and this is replaced with a relief and I feel stronger than ever. This strength stays but is then quickly replaced with this choking feeling. I don't recognize myself, I have to find back to my strength. Where I live religion is hated and despised and so i do not have anyone that I can truly talk to and who understands me. If there is anyone out there who feel you can help, it would truly mean a lot. Thank you.

Feeling overwhelmed can feel like you're under water and taking a deep lung full of water. You mention you are Catholic and take refuge there. Any religious figure, Saint, Philosopher et. cetera would hold you close and show you compassion. Try and show yourself compassion.

Your dreams may change. That's ok.

I'm a Buddhist and there is a saying that when you pray, you are talking to God and when you meditate, you are listening. Try and listen to those that give you strength. Be compassionate with yourself. Show yourself forgiveness. You are a perfect soul-- you must believe that.
