I hope you smile

I hope you smile.

This is what was written on a post on my feed.

Did it make me smile? No

Did it make me cry? Yes

The fact that i haven't smiled truthfully clicked. I haven't smiled properly for so long. For years.

All that i saw was this deep frown, an upside down smile on my face.

The moment i realised that smiling was so hard for me to do when i was the one bringing smile on people's faces back then hit me hard.

Where did my smile go? Why did my life take it away? Why is it so hard to smile? Why did i tear up when i read 'i hope you smile'? Why me?

Why me?

That's a million dollar question everyone has asked atleast once in their lifetime. Why me? To which each has their own answers. I hope to find mine soon. Maybe then, i might find a reason to smile. hopefully.
