Hi, I'm new here....

Well I'm new to this forum but I privately chatted with a listener about 2 weeks ago and I just tried to get support in the group forum and felt ignored. I'm a long-term sufferer of MDD (Major Depressive Disorder) and GAD (Generalized Anxiety Disorder) among other things. Today, I'm not well because lately in the past 2 weeks I had a couple of triggers that made me act really impulsive toward my money. Typically, I'm known as a responsible spender/saver and rarely have spending impulses.

I'm on SSDI due to my disabilities and since I was considered disabled by the age of 21 I get child disability off of my dad. A year after I got approved, he died and my roughly $800 a month went up to over $1,200. As of 2015, my monthly payment is nearing the $1300 threshold. I have lived alone roughly since I've been approved. Right now, I'm living in an apartment near my college. I'm graduating soon (May) and I also get FAFSA and book voucher refunds occasionally due to my student status.

Anyway, lately I got a book voucher and I ended up spending most of it on www.psychicsource.com because I had some weird triggers that made me seek the comfort. I'm kind of embarassed by what triggered me. I know it seems like another scam site that I recently closed my account on. This site is slightly different in that you can do it by internet chat and they don't only showcase the "nice and rosy 4 or 5 star reviews" , they will be more hard core and post the 3 stars or worse reviews for each psychic. The bad thing about this site is, each psychic (just like the other site) can charge their own amount and you decide how much you put into the company for a package but it's very easy to pay too much. Today, I did try to contact the company to try to get my refund back and close out the account but live chat wasn't working.

Also I'm not seeing a regular counselor because the counselor I was seeing on campus, she referred me out to a counselor off campus that wasn't taking new patients and I'm not sure she's a counselor who even takes my type of insurance. Due to my disability, I get medicare and partial medicaid to cover the medicarepremium. So despite the rural town and relatively low cost of living my town and region of Virginia has, I still have trouble finding any type of medical help because some doctors or counselors won't take my insurance.

I recently saw my doctor to try to get a referral somewhere. So far they are trying to contact a counselor from a town away but I literately saw my doctor over the weekend so I'm waiting on that. In the meantime, I'm still struggling with a lot of the issues I was struggling with when I saw my campus counselor.
