Is one person's craziness is another person's reality?

Sorry I haven't posted in a while, been so caught up with life. So many things happened lately, in my personal life, on here which got me thinking - how important is perspective? I came across this quote:

"One person's terrorist another person's freedom fighter"

So is it all about perspectives? Perspective is nothing but the way you view something - your personal outlook on a particular subject. What you view as a plant with thorns, could be viewed as a plant with roses to someone. What someone calls their reality, as the question suggests, can be someone else's craziness or a completely unthinkable realm.

However, my question to you is, does life really depend on perspectives so much? Can one person really be SO different that they can be one person's freedom fighter, yet someone else's terrorist? Can perspective make me see the night as an everlasting brightness of the stars or the eternal darkness? What does perspective mean to YOU? How important do you think it is?

I would love to hear all about it. :)
