I think I am sick...

I started in this website just for some advice with some troubles I was having with my, in that time, couple.

Now, in the last months, I started to experience anxiety (pain chest, think a lot, fear, fast breathe, etc) and another thing...

Sometimes I feel godlike, powerful, I do fast moves and shout, I feel so sexually excited, so happy, I want to scare people, but then I start to cry and feel I am trash. And there are moments in that I feel so blue, for lots of days.

Maybe I'm bipolar? I want to know, I want to work and start therapy.

Hi there . I can totally relate to how you feel . I recently found out that I probably have bipolar and I have the same symptoms as you described . Sometimes I feel so happy , I start saying stupid things and laughing for no real reason and feeling like I'm all powerful . At other time I feel stupidand empty and dumb and useless , as thou whatever I do I'll never get anywhere .

It would probably be a good idea to get a diagnosis so that you can be given help with things if you ever need it .

Also , just one more thing . Don't ever think that because you have bipolar you are not normal or that you will never get anywhere or that you are useless . You are an AMAZING individual , stay brave and strong and you'll achieve beautiful things . I believe in you .

The worst thing is that I have to go to therapy secretly. My mom would be so angry with me if I tell her I am sick. She had so much enough with my ex, who is depressive and schizophrenic.

I thought in going to the hospital at the morning, it's free, but in the morning I am the maid of mom, so I have to go to the evening, but to that case I need money, and I need to work, and it's hard to get a job.

Ahhh, I don't know how start with all this bull**it.

@Andreievich

The important thing is that you recognized a problem, and now is it bipolar, anxiety, depression or whatever it really doesn't matter, what matters is that you have to be okay.

It sounds like now you're experiencing really tough situation with your mother. How can you be so sure that she will be angry ? You can't know, if she was angry on your ex, doesn't mean that it would be the same with you, you're her child.

Hope everything goes right. What else do you have on your mind, how else you can try to go to therapy ?

I am sure she would get angry, she's always in that mood for all the thing I do. For example: I am planning to do some travels, and she got mad because I did the passport. I told her it will be after studies (and I will finish this year) but is like she can't understand. I feel every time is searching an excuse to fight me, she always says I am shame to her.

Have you tried to explain her that she gets angry for some small things ? But not with yelling, but kindly.

Ay, always, but well... I know she won't change, she's stressed all the day because she never worked and now, that is divorced, has to do it. Even she's searching a man with money, but that's another topic. As I said, I know she won't change, never, the unique solution is me moving out.

I'm sorry to hear that. But as I can see you're over 18, now you're your man, you can do everything you want with your life, right ? She doesn't even have to know that you're going to therapies. And even if she gets mad, that's not her choice will you go there or no. Go on, you're strong because you're struggling with that problem and going through it but still staying so well to search for help. I support you.

I am 20, and I told her lots of times that it's my life and I do whatever I want. I also want to work and every thing I see to start, she complains. Bah.

She was the same with my sister - God bless her because she moved out to never coming back! I wanna do the same but I wanna live in another country.
