Mental Wellness Test: Severe
So i took the mental wellness test and it came as severe sadness, anxiety, and depression. I want to tell my parents, but i fear if there isnt hard proof its an accurate test they will shrug it off and say im fine.
Last time i asked for a therapist, my mom said she would check if its in her insurance, and if the
Therapist were too expensive "i will be your shrink myself."
The problem with that is she gets angry easily and assumes why im depressed.
What do i do?

hi, Im sorry you are feeling so depressed. Its a good thing to search for help. Maybe you could think on what to say to your mother so she could have an opportunity to understand, maybe se will maybe she wont. But dont let this stop you from getting help. Can you discover if the insurance covers the therapy?Maybe you can talk to her about finding a more accessible cost, a therapy that you could afford. If you are a student maybe you could search for assistance at your school or college. And you can talk to a listener in here to help you to discover what youre feeling and be able to explain it in a clear and direct way . We are here ok? You can always come and chat with me or text me , Im usually on some chat room. Keep fighting! 💜🍀
I hope you find a way, currently my special someone is going through some short of depression too, I don't know how severe it is but his parents shruged it off like "You are young, that's normal for your age". However he has very bad breakdowns from time to time, 3-4 times a month but they are so... tough. He always mentions how he is good for nothing and he will never succeed at anything, and that he hates that I love him cause it makes no sense, he says he's not worth it. He already threatened with killing himself but said he had no courage to do it.
I just discovered 7cups yesterday and I hope I can convince him to receive help cause he told me his parents never agreed to take him anywhere, and sometimes I just don't know if he checked any website with advice I told him to see. I already asked some people with certain psychologic experience on how to help him myself, and I pretty much learned a lot since I was in therapy of this kind for years, I had 2 depressions and I'm still quite young...we both are. I made some research myself and I just can't accept there are so many young people suffering depression nowadays, and in fact I always wished I could be part of some kind of program to help people with it, like this website, as a kind of part time job, because I went through all of this mess and I know how it feels. No one ever deserves to be alone, no one.
I'm confident that everyone who needs and wants help will find a way and get better, I have hope in this community and the people here overall.
Lots of hugs o/
