Loneliness
Recently my girlfriend broke up with me. We were together for a year and she had to end things because of her mental health, though I don't think we'll ever get back together even if she gets better. Things have been terrible. She is everywhere, all over the place. On the walls, where she left her name with a marker. On my phone, with her socials and our last texts. One of my favorite things is that she was the only one who cared enough to hear about it. Everywhere. It's like she put the world on fire, except the fire is our memories, and now the smoke and the blaze are everywhere.
It's so hard to not blame myself when I know I should've been there for her more. She told me she was the worst person for ending things with me, and all I could think of was that I didn't do enough to help her realize how much she meant to me and how I could never see her like that.
Now, the silence is too loud. Every time I catch myself thinking, It's always of her. Now I need to distract myself with everything just to not think of her. I blast music loud, I feel the need to leave the house and do something, It's even getting in the way of my school work. I don't know what to do anymore, even though It's been only a few days I want it to be over already.

I’m really sorry you’re going through this. Breakups are so tough, especially when mental health is involved. It’s completely normal to feel overwhelmed and guilty right now but remember that you did your best. Moreover, allow yourself to grieve and feel those emotions, it’s a crucial part of healing. It’s okay to distract yourself but try to find little things that bring you joy, even if it’s just a walk or some music.
Remember, healing takes time so be gentle with yourself.
You’re not alone and brighter days will come.
