I'm proud of myself today because I'm alive. I'm alive, not dead, and sitting, typing a forum post. I want to go back in time to young me, and tell them how I'll live through the abuse, how it'll be hard, how I'll want to die, but most of all how I'll get through it. All my life, I thought I wouldn't live past 12 - I managed to get that far. I have no real milestone right now, except for realising that I'm alive and it's fucking miraculous.
