Do dreams have an expiration date?
Time shouldn't be about restrictions but society hands us timelines. By this age, by this time... This career, this house, this success. We're made to believe that it is too late and that our dreams have expired. But do they really?
I believe dreams evolve with us. They shift, they change but at their core, they remain seeds of growth. No matter what our minds tell us, there's always a way forward. It's never too late.
We may feel like we've missed the boat but the future version of us will never regret starting, no matter how late it seems. It's not about when you begin, it's about having the courage to step forward and trust the journey.
So no, dreams don't expire. They're like seeds waiting to be planted. And as long as we water them with action, they'll grow. Whether it's a dream you've held onto for years or a new one, you can always start. The future you will be grateful you did.

So beautifully put 💜🥰
When we see others doing certain things by a certain timeline, human nature inevitably makes us feel like we are failing or lacking in some way. But it's important to not allow society or others dictate our path or timeline for us, because life turns up some twists and turns along the way and we have to be mindful that the time is right when its right for us and decided by us 💜🥰
@Amanda84 the human race is not a marathon💖
@Tinywhisper11 thank God for that, or it'd be a short one for me 🤣
@Amanda84 😂😂😂😂😂
@BlueDarkAurora that's right it's never to late💖 sometimes we just got to remember that person we once was, when the only world that mattered was the one you owned, the one all your best memories live. You can be who you want to be, do what you want to do and do it now, don't overthink it just do it 💖
In my opinion, you're saying in a very beautiful way something that isn't false at it's core, but misses one major thing. While you don't have to be 14yo to start doing karate, swimming, paint or anything else, although your brain and body is definitely more capable to do anything at that age than decades after, you'd still be able to do what you wish to... as long as you keep having that dream... because what you actually didn't mention is that, usually, kids are the one dreaming. But that is because they're kids. But as they grow, life makes people stumble, and suddenly, dreams fade away. And what changes then? The fact that we no longer dream. Over the years dreaming becomes childish and suddenly it's not anymore about tge fact that this and that was a thing of the past, but that people lack of willpower. Society turns people from goldmines of creativity into little working ants. Of course we dream no more, and this is why everyone feels like dream expire, not because they become unachievable, but because they genuinely expire, because people forget to dream and just go through the motion of life, without trying to achieve sometimes more than what the average person thinks they should... a house, a car, a partner, a job... not because they want all these things, but because that makes them "normal"...
