Helped a friend who suffers from schizophrenia with an application for a voluntary position with a local youth charity, she was bubbling with excitement to tell me she has got an interview on Friday 👍👍👍 It's made my day, she is also coming to a classical music recital with me at a local church Friday evening, Pictures at an Exhibition.

That’s such lovely news. You must be so happy for her. It sounds like she’s got a really special day ahead on Friday, and I hope it all goes well. You be well too.

That’s completely understandable. Hopefully a few hours to start with will help build her confidence and settle the nerves.

My friend, Emma has just had a conference call with the charity during her weekly psychiatrist appointment. She hasn't been accepted for the position but I've agreed to go with her initially a couple of times a week when I'm not working to give Emma a chance to find her feet shadowing other volunteers and to see if it is an option she wishes to pursue.
