Well... I'm worried this may make people uncomfortable but... basically, a user on here said that 'cisgendered women are closeted transgender males'.
I don't think I need to outline how alarming this way of thinking is. (And, given statistics, surely the opposite should apply more considering the amount of men in women's spaces.) I couldn't stay quiet, so I left a comment regarding it. Now I'm sitting here waiting for the inevitable attack that's sure to follow. I'm used to pitchforks and torches and this point lol.
Misogyny has been on the rise over the past decade and it continues to grow, but little attention is brought to it. It's all brushed under the rug in favour of furthering some other ridiculous agenda. More than half of the world's population is continuing to be oppressed and I'd go so far as to even say mocked. Ridiculed. People who 'identify' as women can go to absurd lengths to become a living stereotype, and it's grossly offensive. I heard a teacher - a teacher - on the news say that a woman is a chosen identity and that it's for people who like the makeup or the colour pink!! I mean- what?!
So it's that and, along with 'hot topics' in recent news that should be common sense, it all just makes me feel a bit more melancholy and long for the days before the turn of 2013.
Of course, this is my opinion. I'm not trying to make others uncomfortable, but I can't ignore my own discomfort in the face of what the world 'values' these days. It's not a world I want to live in.
I feel it. The whole thing confuses me often, although I love and protect everyone, regardless of gender and gender identity <3

@jesusredeemedme2425 I have a friend who's trans. We don't always see eye to eye on things, but I value their opinion and they themselves as a person. Even they hate the 'progressive' tagline and some of the things associated with it. Say it can do more harm than good, and I agree with them.
I judge people on their own merit and standing. Yet to say women are essentially vying to be men? It's... gross. And fills me with anathema towards it. And again, if anything, it's pretty much proven how the opposite is more true if anything with all the men in women's spaces, yet the opposite is rare.
Funny that, isn't it?
... But I'll leave it there. All the eggshell walking gives me a headache on the best of days. My brain is fried. 🍳
I just try to understand and love and accept, no matter what people do and what they believe. It makes it so much easier <3
