Rejection to Redirection

Studies found that the greatest fear of humans is not death, taxes or a spider that disappears after you smash it with something.

It's Rejection.

This has to do with a part of our brain (Often called 'the reptilian'.) that responds to our perception of threat. 🐉🐲🌵

Fun fact! Our brain can't tell reality from imagination. So how can we imagine the best life for ourselves possible?

Well, we do so by utilizing the space between stimulus and response. Which at first is the tightest of squeezes.

Yet the more one practices something, the less heinously weird and even wrong it feels and the more doable it becomes!!!

But where does one begin?! How do we cram ourselves into the space between perceived threat and our inner lizard?!

We start at the beginning, of course! By first establishing a will and desire to change, and then an 🍨 🍦 reward.

It doesn't have to be ice cream. It can be whatever treat you like! 🍪 , 🎂 , kale chips with nooch...you do you.

Ask yourself "What is something that I thought went horribly badly mucho wrong but was actually a blessing in disguise?"
