"The Light That Left Me"Where Love Used to Live"

The past still smolders in ashes.
The future hides behind sweet dreams that rot into nightmares.
And the present? It slips like sand beneath trembling feet.
Once, I was told—stand firm, or you'll burn.
But I didn’t.
Now I chase a flickering light through endless darkness.
It vanishes when I run… returns when I collapse.
Still, I rise.
Still, I run.
But I never reach it.
There’s a silence inside me louder than any scream.
Memories echo like ghosts that refuse to die.
My soul feels heavy—dragging through time,
And every breath is borrowed from a version of me, I no longer recognize.
Yet in the distance, that light still calls—
A cruel hope,
A beautiful lie,
Or maybe... the last piece of me that hasn’t given up
