One day, a professor sat with his students, quietly sipping tea.

He poured the tea into different cups some plain, some elegant, some costly, some old.

The students naturally reached for the most beautiful cups.

The professor smiled and said softly:

“This is how life works.

You chose the cup, but the tea was the same for everyone.

Life is the tea.

The cup is status, wealth, and appearances.

These things don’t add flavor to life

they only steal our attention from it.”
