When was the happiest time in your life?
This question is more complicated than it seems at first glance. A concept like happiness is abstract and difficult to quantify. It is sometimes easier to see happiness in the rearview mirror as a reflection of the times in our lives when we felt truly alive, fulfilled, and well - happy!
Looking at your life, when did you feel truly happy?

I definitely agree that understanding happiness can be very complex. Now that I have graduated from college, I miss that time of my life so much. Friends and fun everyday but now it's hard to see all those friends as much as I'd like. But back during college, it was stressful too and I didn't always feel the happiness I feel now. Therefore, I think it's important to be present and enjoy what's in front of you and also what has already passed ❤️

I can imagine that you miss it. A person spends a high amount of their life at school and creates nice friendships and bonds with the people around. I completely agree with you! A person views a situation differently when it is the current reality and then changes view as the years pass by. I did not like my high school much at that time but now I think it was a great period of my life.

The happiest times that I can remember were my younger childhood years. Perhaps 4 to 9 years old.

This is a weirdly specific one. I was probably around 8-9 years old back then. It was summer and the summers were always great because we spent the whole day outside playing with the neighbours kids. It was in the evening and I was supposed to get ready to go to bed. I was in the bathroom to brush my teeth, and was just looking outside the open window. I heard some neighbors in the distance having a barbecue, I heared chatting and you could tell they were having a good time. I could also hear some music playing. In the garden before me there were two cats chasing each other, it seemed friendly like their were either best friends or mating. There was something magical about the moment, I felt like bursting of joy. It was so intense, it seems like it was yesterday. I am 22 years old now.

Thank you for sharing! It seems like you have very nice memories from your childhood. I love the story! It reminds me of my happy memory. It was when I was outside galloping on a horse and there was a sunset - I also became very mindful of all that beauty surrounding me and it made me feel happiness and peace. I think that these moments show how important it is to be mindful and grateful for simple things in our life because they matter and they can make a difference.
