When my sister came out she said it felt like it wasn't a big deal anymore because it was becoming more common. I know that that made her feel like she should downplay her pride a little. Well that's silly. I love your post! Even if it seem's like something that's pretty common these days, you should be proud. Self awarness, and then acceptance, is a huge challange. It's pride and strength like that that will make homophobia something for the history books.

I'm really proud of you, too! Even though there is more and more resistance to homophobia, every coming out is a little miracle great! It raises your self-confidence and self-awareness so much! I, too, hope that homophobia eventually will become an old hat that future children read about in history books. Every human being is precious and it's up to us who we love. No one should interfere with that. :)
