Pouring love into your own cup
Hello everyone, hope you are enjoying your weekend. 💞 I have a little something for you to reflect on and I would love to hear your answers, if you want to share with me!
How do you pour love in your own cup each day? What self-loving daily or weekly habits do you have?
Even if you don't have something, maybe there is a habit or routine you would like to begin?
I find that little things go a long way and when building new routines you often notice a shift or a change. It might change your perspective, mindset, your confidence or self-esteem.
Mine is: Taking a walk each day, to get daylight and fresh air (especially important in the winter) and to connect with myself. It's grounding and refreshing and I find that it boosts my mood. It is also a good time to practice mindfulness.
Something I would like to begin: Journaling every day. Meditating (something I have told myself I want to do for a long time).

Journaling: I write down my thoughts in my diary and keep track of them.
Prayer: this has also been helping me to cope with the various emotions I experience daily.

Walking, physical activity, dancing: I would like to start doing these activities to give movement to my body.

Thank you for sharing. I would like to take up dancing too, it has so many benefits. What kind of dance are you interested in trying?

I like to paint my nails, draw, and read, those all make me feel better and are very calming.
I would like to start going outside more, taking more time to slow down and just be.
@Sunthruclouds hello 😊 thank you for your kind wishes and your beautiful post. I absolutely love the cold weather 🥶 and yes, I know it's not for most people, but I love the crispness of the air and walking in it. Clears my mind and puts a fresh perspective on things and maybe even the cold wakes me up 😁 what fills my cup the most is spending time with my beautiful nephews, their incessant energy and creativity and seeing the world through their eyes. My faith keeps me grounded and hopeful and my family keeps me grateful 😊 I have a massive passion for all things football so that kicks me happy 😊
