Proud because I'm keeping up with my calender
Back in October I made a self-care calender where I can monitor my self-care habits daily.
Red star: cooked for myself
Blue star: showered
Green star: brushed teeth
Little house: helped clean
Little man: went to gym
Sad face: had a low/depressive spell that lasted a major portion of the day/
I forgot to write the final tally for November and completely neglected it in December but I resolved to pick it back up in January and have entered my third month of care monitoring. January was a really tough month for me with a lot of care deficit, so I'm hoping to use that to push forward through February and keep up the good start I've got going. It's silly, but sometimes just really wanting to put a certain color star on the board can motivate me enough to do something I wouldn't care enough to do otherwise.
Fantastic to hear, @astuteScorpius! Sometimes it can take these seemingly little pleasures to help us get on our way to achieving and keeping up with many of our accommplishments.I think it's great that you've found this method and that it's helped you! I hope it's also becoming an insightful and useful tool in progressing with your self-care.
I'm also very glad to hear that you were able to keep up the great work, andto not let your dip in December stop you from working on establishing a good momentum with it.
This is all definitely something to be very proud of!
I do something similar, with Joe's Goals, but I like the sounds of what you're doing, so I might try it myself! So thank you very much for the idea![]()
what a good idea!! might implement it myself! keep up the good work
This sounds like such an awesome idea! Keep up the great work and stick to it, this kind of self-monitoring is an excellent method to stick to progression. I'm definitely going to implement something similar this month, though I think I'll need a bigger kind of calendar :p. Thanks for the awesome post!!
