YOU are enough
Sometimes we start to feel self-doubt or unworthiness when things go wrong in a relationship. But I was talking to a friend who helped me realize that a relationship is not just about what you bring to the table, but it is also about what your partner or friend is willing to bring and how much they are invested in working on things together. It just made me realize, that I often blame myself for these situations instead of looking more objectively at the other person and their responsiblity.

Most definitely. As a people-pleaser in recovery, it's been kinda mind-blowing for me to realize, in hindsight, that I was taking way too much responsibility upon myself. In effect, I was making myself responsible for another's feelings (because of how I was raised). And it was so liberating, yet painful at the same time, to learn that I could set myself free from that.
Still though, I'm the person who usually (through no agenda, just my personality) puts the most effort into my relationships. And I've come to the conclusion that not everyone is wired that way, and that is okay. I can still be me. :)
