It’s been four years since I should’ve gotten a job the first year I missed cause I started a masters another one than the second year i was burned out by the school and lost confidence than the third year I started taking endless public exams and interviews but they take forever to respond sometimes you reach final round just to not make it

It kept jarring until 2026 when I kept trying but nothing works especially due to lack of offers on the market than late 2026 iam thinking of going to a different country but it’s hard to get visa imagine 4 years of wasted potential I was a good student I worked so hard in school was it my fault that I got burned out so early I recently started working part time in this teaching online situation it gives me something to look forward to but when I look at the time I wasted the money I could’ve made the opportunities I lost I just don’t know how to feel iam 26 now because of this job situation I avoided making friendships or dating because it’s embarrassing for me and most people will just think ur lazy when I have tried every trick on the book but it doesn’t help if you have anxiety or low confidence

Recently I started dating someone online totally didn’t expect it to develop into anything he wants to help me move abroad but even that we have to wait until end of the year

Just woke up to these thoughts

From what I’ve read, one thing is clear: it’s great that you aren’t giving up. A situation like yours—and the years you’ve spent—could easily dishearten even the strongest of people. Yet, you’re still looking for a way forward, and you’re even putting yourself out there to meet new people. That deserves respect. And to answer your question: no, this isn’t entirely your fault. You did the best you could, in every respect. If you could have acted differently, you would have, right? There’s no need to beat yourself up over those four lost years. Just do everything you can to ensure you don’t lose another four—even if it takes some time.
