Feeling alone

Less than a year ago I lost my guy, literally the best man I have ever met. His birthday was today, well technically yesterday since it's after midnight. He would have been 56, still so so young. Last year my daughter worked at DQ so she tried making him a green ice cream cake and it came out a horrible mess lol but he loved it.

I'm just feeling his loss especially hard today and have been quite alone today both figuratively and literally. I'm not sure what to share, I could write forever if I really started. I'm tired, I'm crying, I'm smiling, and even laughing some. The past 10 months feel like a lifetime and also like it was just yesterday.
