How do you grieve?
@quietTiger18
Are you grieving, Tiger?
Or it's a theoretical question?
Theoretical question. I know I have not processed or grieved previous traumas in the past. I just push them away and never actually grieve or accept.

I suggest you start by understanding the classic Kübler-Ross 5-stage model:

Then proceed to Joanne Cacciatore's bibliography.
She was her best friend until Kübler-Ross' passing, I consider Cacciatore her spiritual heir, though her approach is very different.
Joanne Cacciatore's suggested readings:

Her book "Bearing the Unbearable" is the place to start if you feel stuck and wish to go through the grieving process in a healthy and authentic way.
The short episodes of her podcast might give you a sense of her approach and see if it makes sense to you:

There's no wrong way to grieve. It's important to take time to grieve, think about your loss and allow yourself to feel it. But there is no specific way to grieve or any time limit on it. The most important thing is giving yourself the time to feel grief and process. If you're blocking the feelings out and can't let yourself feel what you need to feel I would recommend finding a therapist that helps people with loss to help you process.
