I am grieving the loss of my daughter, who walked out of my life
I recently experienced a heartbreaking situation with my daughter, whom I found 16 years ago. Out of nowhere, she chose to walk away and said some truly horrific things to me. I’m at a loss for how to process this and move forward. I keep questioning what happened, where I went wrong, and how I could have missed the signs. It feels like I have to endure the pain of losing her all over again. People expect me to have all the answers because of my profession, which has left me feeling utterly helpless.

We cannot be expected to see signs that we are not looking for and we can't predict the future, or what and why people do the things they do🙁 take your time to process all of this, be kind to yourself right now, noone has all the answers💖 my son will be 14 years old next month, he's in heaven now 🙁 and there's nothing I wouldn't give to have him back😥 so give yourself time to feel to heal, then if there's any chance at all for you two then please go get her back💖 hugs you tightly 💖

I had to give my daughter up for adoption when I was 15, and I looked for her for 20 years. I found her on ***, and when my mom was alive, she found her while shopping at a store where my daughter worked. We met and spent 16 years together. Then, all of a sudden, she decided to walk away and say things that weren't true to her adopted family, which they believed her. I know I will eventually get through this.
