I feel depressed sometimes when missing my parents
@XenaPhenix2412 I'm so sorry for your loss. I think that when we lose someone the pain never really ever goes away. It might lessen and not be as sharp as time passes but it lingers forever. And pets. Oh my I know what you mean there. They have such big personalities and fill our lives with so much love and laughter. It's so hard when they grow old or get sick. It hurts so badly when we have to say goodbye. Is there something you could do to help you feel some comfort while grieving your parents and pets? A small memorial where you could sit with their memories?
Sending you peace and light
I do. But i feel more sad then
@XenaPhenix2412 I'm sorry that it makes you more sad. If you've been struggling with this for a long time maybe a grief counselor could help? I mean there's no time line for grief of course and we all grieve in our own way but if it's affecting your ability to function in anyway maybe it could help? I'm finding out myself just how complicated grief is when it comes to losing a parent(s). Do you have people in your life who support you with working through this?
Hi I'm Megan. I lost my mom in March. Can u expand more on complicated grief?
@Missmegan123 Hi Megan, it's nice to meet you. I'm so sorry for your loss. Complicated grief is usually considered when grief is intense and affects your ability to function even after 12 months. But alot of professionals aren't putting any set amount of time passing. Their passing is all you can think about. If you're struggling or having trouble functioning day to day talking to a grief counselor might be something to think about.
