Losing my grandma
I lost my grandma in October of last year. She was ninety nine (99). I am having a very hard time dealing with it. I didn't go to the funeral. Years before she died, we talked and I told her I wouldn't go. She told me she was ok with it.
So when she died, I didn't go to the funeral. I'm having trouble 😵💫 over her death. I always thought she would live forever. I've been depressed lately and have wanted very badly to call her. I will grab the phone and make an attempt. Then I realized that she isn't here anymore.

Im sorry thats such a hard thing to go through. When someones been there your entire life its hard to let go and accept this new change, she knows you honored your wish and she supported you not going to the funeral. What do you want to tell her? Maybe she can still hear you, you just need to share your message in a different way. Maybe call her and leave a voicemail write a letter say the words and send them to her. She loved and supported you and lived an amazing life. Grief moves in different ways - do what makes sense for you.
