Losing my one and only uncle
He is just 4 years when he died from cancer . As someone who grow up with no cousins and any biological relatives I wish he was alive right now because he was the only biological uncle I had from my mother side . Think abt it makes my heart feel numb . He was just a kid who doesn't know abt the outworld he was not able to go outside because of his disease . I hope he is doing great in heavens

Hey Mimozulo,
I’m so deeply sorry for the loss of your uncle. Even though it happened years ago, the pain still feels fresh and heavy — especially knowing he was only 4 years old and the only biological uncle you had from your mother’s side.
It must hurt so much to think about a little kid who never got the chance to run outside, play, or experience the world because of his illness. That kind of unfairness can leave anyone feeling numb inside. And growing up without cousins or other biological relatives must have made his absence feel even bigger.
Your heart is carrying a lot of love and grief for someone you barely got to know, but who still meant the world to you. That’s really beautiful, even though it’s painful.
I believe he is at peace now, free from pain, and maybe even playing happily somewhere in heaven like every little kid deserves. I hope that thought can bring you even a tiny bit of comfort on the hard days.
Thank you for sharing this with us. It takes courage to talk about something that still makes your heart feel numb. If you ever want to talk more about him — memories, what you wish could have been, or just how you’re feeling today — I’m here to listen. No pressure at all.
Sending you a gentle hug ❤️
