My Cousin, my Safe Person, my Bri

It occurs to me now, at 4 weeks and 3 days after her body gave up, as I make my daily call to her cell number to hear her voice, that soon I will get a disconnect message. I know in my mind I should probably stop calling her number but I just can't. I can feel the train rumbling, and here I stand on the tracks. Dammit I am standing on the tracks! Don't run me down! Oh please help me.

@TonyaD39 I'm so sorry to hear that, you must be beyond devastated. I know it may seem like this is a dead end and life cannot go on, but time flows like a cascading waterfall, sometimes fast and strong, sometimes slow and gentle like the wind upon your cheek. Don't get me wrong, time doesn't heal, it teaches us to live with the pain. Take as much time as you need....don't bottle it up, cry...cry as much as you want, hear her voice and reminisce about the past as much times as you'd like. And once you're done, I'm here waiting for you. I know you can get up. I know you can do this.
