My pet was put down yesterday and I feel so lost without her
I just need to talk about her to anyone and everyone who will listen
She had some mental issues that caused her to get aggressive seemingly at random and after a major incident, we realized she had to be put down for the safety of the family. She was also a big dog (4 year old rottweiler) which definitely didn't help her case.
Regardless, I loved her so much. When she was good 99% of the time, she was the sweetest, most loving pet anyone could ever ask for. I wish we didn't have to keep her away from others and be so careful with her. I wanted nothing more than to cuddle her and play with her all the time. And now that she's gone, the house feels a bit quieter, a little sadder, not just because of my family grieving but because one of our treasured family members is no longer there
I miss her so much. I want her back so badly

Your girl was so young and that's even sadder because of the years that were taken from you of having her with your family. The silence in the house is deafening. Her name was Kiara. She was a 4 year old rottweiler. She had some aggression issues but underneath all that, she was the sweetest girl one could ever ask for. Loved getting pets, sitting so close to you that she was almost on top of you, and holding hands.
My heart hurts thinking about her. I miss her dearly

I wish there were words that would ease the pain in your heart but I know that there aren't any. We make such amazing bonds with our dogs and they are so much a part of our daily lives. To lose them is like losing a part of ourselves. The hole they leave behind is so massive!
Would creating a little memorial for her help? Maybe a keepsake box with pictures and her favorite toys. Sometimes things like this can bring a little comfort to our hearts and minds.
But you have to do what feels right to you. Everyone grieves differently. And some days it will hit harder than others. It's ok to cry. She was your friend and part of your family. Grief is love with no where to go ❤️
