November toughest month of Sadness
It is almost a year since I lost my baby girl, cat Mindy who was a few months away from turning 16.
17 years ago November was the full last month I had the previous cat alive in my life who was my truest best friend I could ever ask for.
I miss them both so much!
Thinking of the loss of them also makes me think of all the other losses in my life and it makes me even more sad.

@catgirl278 aw, so sorry :( I know the pain of losing a pet; it's definitely a different kind of grief, and a lot of people underestimate how much of a weight that can be to bear.
something that helped me around the time I lost my boy was lighting a candle (sounds simple, but it gives you something to emcompass the grief in). could dedicate a few days of remembrance in a similar way, so the anniversary is structured? 😊
Thank you. Thank you for the idea of lighting a candle. I might do something similar or just give a remembrance toast on Thanksgiving for her and those that are no longer with us.
