Pet Loss (best friend) Support
Yesterday, my best friend, my snuggle buddy, my best of everything, my dog, Nismo (pfp), passed away suddenly. I miss him terribly. I also feel very blessed and the luckiest person in the world to have 8 1/2 amazing years with him physically and the rest of my life with him, spiritually. For now, I’m giving myself the time and space to grieve, without judgement, and with unconditional love. Please send wishes to Nismo, I know in my heart he can hear you!

hi there, I'm so sorry that your dog Nismo passed away. Losing a pet can feel like losing your best friend. It's super normal and understandable to be upset about your dog's passing and feeling terrible. It's a good sign that you can communicate your feelings and still find positive things about how you're still a blessed person and that you spent those amazing year with him. Plus it is very courageous for you to state that you're going to give yourself the time and space to grieve, without judgement, and with unconditional love. These are all important things to register and process during this hard time.
