i lost my map
it's been 2 years already since I lost my dad. Life is getting complex. *** 17. *** 18 and 19 too. Will twenties gonna pity?
@imfinethankyouandyou they say time may not fully heal but it will help fade away the intense pain. I am lost too. I don’t truly know. But know that others are in this pain with you.

@imfinethankyouandyou yes. Sadly I do find some comfort in knowing that we are not alone. Things will get better. They got to. Hang in there. Take life one hour at a time. It helps me to stay present for something that I can find even a bit of joy in within the next hour.
@imfinethankyouandyou Its been almost 3 yrs for me. I've been pretty lost too. We weren't even that close but we had just reconnected. Losing a parent, no matter what the relationship was like, it changes you. In more ways than I ever thought it's changed me and yes more than a little hopeless. And grief leaves you feeling very much alone.
You aren't just grieving him but also all the should have beens. You're grieving a future that should have had him in it. I'm sorry for your loss and I'm sorry too that I don't know how to ease the pain we're all feeling.
I'm sorry for your loss too. I just hope this pain will ease in time. Sometimes i act like he is still here. And honestly this both broke me and made me feel better. Grieving is such a weird process..
@imfinethankyouandyou yes because how do you solve an issue that has no solution. You can’t bring him back and it breaks your heart I get how you feel. But you can vent here. Atleast it will help while time does its job.
@imfinethankyouandyou Tbh there's still times when I think he'll call or text. Or something happens or I think of something and think I should call him. It's like I forgot and then reality hits all over again
i can relate.. I still haven't delete his number and if I get a new phone I just know I will still add his number
@imfinethankyouandyou I still have his number in my phone too and his old texts. I regret not having some of his voice mails anymore because it's hard to remember what his voice sounded like
