does anyone know how it feels to grieve someone with a terminal illness? because i will say to start off that it isn’t easy, and i certainly sympathize with others who’ve witnessed this, like i have. for context, my stepmom passed of triple negative breast cancer after battling it from 2019-2021. it’s been almost two years, and i just can’t stop thinking about her. i’ve gotten better about not feeling so bad, but these feelings are coming back.

@frankOcean6944 I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm dealing with this right now. My father and I had been estranged for many years. We had started to repair and rebuild a relationship and I found out last month that he has stage 4 cancer. I saw him about two weeks ago and the change is so drastic. He's lost so much weight and gets tired so easily. He's doing chemo and radiation but it's just to buy him time. Tbh - I haven't asked how much time it's buying because I'm afraid to know. It's all I think about lately
