Here are the questions from today's weekend check-in for those who missed it. Tell us:

✅ On a scale of 1–10, how are we feeling about our progress? Note: We will ask this question every Friday to help you chart your progress!

🏆 1 Win: Something you successfully did for your wellness goals this week.
⚠️ 1 Setback: Something that didn't go as planned or a challenge that tripped you up.

💭 When you hit that 'mid-week slump' or felt like skipping your goal, what was the one thing that helped you push through? Was it a reminder of your 'Why'? A supportive message? Or something else?

I got tripped up this week because I pressured myself to do too much 🥺💚

I feel pretty good about my progress.

This week, along with daily walks with the pup, I did a swim and went ice skating (with joy).

My setback is that I am still so cautious on the rink, but I think that’s a matter of time and exposure therapy and possibly it’s just wise to be cautious while my unused muscles are gaining strength.

I made a healthy soup yesterday which took all day because the beans were from raw, and it looks like I will be able to portion out for meals for the next few days, so that’s good (beans, beef, onion, carrot, celery, tamari, cumin, turmeric, ginger, salt, pepper, tomato), so that’s a win in the nutrition department.

Another healthy thing I did was arrange some pup play dates, each which has the double benefit of pup getting worn out and socializing, and also allowing me some socializing with the other pup parents. That was fun and good exercise too.

I'm facing lots of new stressors at present. Some very challenging, about all requiring lots of my attention, concentration, and energy. many are rejuvenating nonetheless, sort of like a run is (requires lots of energy, but I feel better because I invest that energy and find that I have more energy after). Some, though, are truly draining stressors - bullying and harassment at work. Something must be going on with my therapist's admin team, they keep taking money from me and then never connect me to my therapist, refund the money, or respond to my calls or emails. Driving a few days ago someone had a road rage experience while I was setting at a red light, called me the r word a bunch of times, honked their horn, drove on the curb, called me the r-word again drove away. I have a disability and advocate for people with disabilities a lot, it hurt, plus an angry person screaming at me from a big truck was just scary. And then, all the collective traumas happening... I think my overall wellness is a 6.5 out of 10.

1 win: I have met my hydration goals every day since last Friday ð¥³

1 setback: I have not met my gym goal this week.

I want to include more rejuvenating thing this week, more rest. I think that it's realistic to feel 7.5 next week. Hopefully no more bullying and harassment from my boss, even after involving hr, it doesn't seem to stop though.
