Chat Room Features

Censoring
A list of words and phrases are censored in the chat room. If at any time you notice a word is not censored that perhaps should be, please mail community@7cups.com and let us know!

A list of phrases relating to suicide will also be censored out of the conversation. If said, the participant will automatically receive appropriate hotline information.

Refer Button
All participants will have the ability to refer other users to crisis hotlines by clicking the refer button. When the refer button is clicked, the user will receive a pop up containing a list of resources to reach out to.

Deleting Comments
All mods will have the ability to delete specific comments. (Note: We monitor which comments you delete. Please do not abuse this feature of the chat room.) When deleting a comment, the warning box automatically appears so you can warn the user for the rule that they broke that caused you to delete their message.

Delete the following types of comments:
✦ Sharing of social media or personal contact details
✦ Abusive comments towards other users
✦ Inappropriate language (Only messages in which the censor was not activated and the word or phrase is actually showing)
✦ Sharing the names of other listeners/members in a derogatory way
✦ Details of private chats
