Getting muted because of anxiety.
Hello
Yesterday i was discussing with some people in the 35+ group chat, i think the topic was about manners and i was putting forward some philosophical ideas, anyhow suddenly some user said she didn't want to let a discussion devolve into politics, and i was confused because i didn't notice anything like that by the messages i read, and wasn't sure if it was my discussion, but i noticed another user requesting change of topic. And i was confused and asked the moderator what happened, but she was just curt and told me to drop it, which made me anxious and nervous.
but i asked again what happened, but the moderator and other users just got more and more annoyed with, even when i tried to explain to them my feelings and how i felt. but to no avail, and in the end i felt i got treated unfairly somewhat by the mod when she muted me, and this hurt med and made it hard for me to relax before bed-time, i tried to PM the moderator about this, but she has apparently blocked me due to earlier incidents.
This is making me sad that i get treated unfairly and treated meanly on a site where i should be able to get support for emotions and worry.
:(
Yeah it seems that questioning a mod's actions, even if it's a mere "what did I do wrong?" is such a heinous thing that makes a person worthy of being muted. That almost happened to me once (I got a warning or two but I dropped it because I was afraid). Apparently you're supposed to directly message the mod and ask that way but who's going to do that when they already feel scared? And it's not like "don't ask what you did wrong" is in the rules or anything...
