Group Support Schedule for Moderators - Let's use this tool !
Hello Moderators,
We have a beautifully organizedGoogle document to help communicate the Group Mod Team'spresence in the chatrooms. It is our Group Support Moderator Schedule :) ! This document can be used by ANY chatroom moderators wishing to pick up shifts in the group supportchatrooms. Let's try to use it and make it an essential tool for every moderator. Signing up for shifts would ensure coverage, maintain organization and facilitate communication! If you feel like you cannot commit to a shift, there's no need to sign up for one.
Thank you to allmoderators, keep up the awesome work :D! Feel free to share comments, thoughts orquestions below. I love hearing input from you all !
Reminders :
1. Every moderatormustcomplete "10 Group Chats per month. This equates to 250 messages sent per month in Group Support Chat Rooms". Source
2. The schedule linked above is for moderators only. Listeners may use it to check coverage orwhen moderators will be online, but should not to sign up for shifts.
3. The schedule will be updated weekly. (From now on, I will try toclear the schedule every Sunday, at 11h59 pmEST, I hope everyone is okay with that).
4. There are no limits to how many shifts you can pick up, but keep in mind that self-care is important ! For more info, check out ourNotes on Self-Care.
5. Let's avoid signing up for multiple chatrooms duringthe sametime slot, since the chatroom, and members, should have our undivided attention.
6. Moderator Guide !
I love this idea but struggle to fit in specific time. like I have no idea when someone is going to call me away for something else or when a chat comes up that is urgent. Often I just try to fill the gaps and it seems to work. <3
Thanks for compiling everything into one post, @LucioleAudacieuse, it's really helpful!
It'd be helpful too if Group Mods could use the Group Mod chatroom to communicate - I like to go in there to see if there's any rooms that need coverage, or to announce what room I'm leaving if I wasthe only one there. Sometimes I notice there are a lot of mods in one room, and none in another, and it'd be nice to spread it out more evenly as possible.
It would be cool if it came up like the notes one does in 1-1. Like on the side so you can seethe mod zone and be modding
